Hey man! im in a problem!!!! i need to organise my site's code, but ill then have to change links of each image, as their locations will be changed.... is there any way to escape this ???

Replied on: July 17, 2026 at 9:30:08 AM

I suppose you're updating your site files' folder structure. Well, there probably aren't many solutions for it... If your images' file paths and other paths in your HTML (like CSS, JS, anchor links etc.) share the same folder structure, you can use the <base> tag on each page to make the coding part easier. If they don't share the same folder structure, you'll probably have to manually update them. But don't worry, it probably won't take too long. Just take your time. :) You can also use Notepad/Notepad++ to apply "Find & Replace All" to update your image file paths. That'll make the job easier. Let me know if this helps!

Hello, thanks so much! I'm glad you liked my site and stuff <3 The guestbook wasn't made by me. It's an iFrame-based guestbook application called "Atabook". You can get your own for free on its site by signing up: https://atabook.org/ Feel free to ask if you have any other questions!! :P

Nice site! I hope we can go back to the free, opitimistic, decentralized internet before social media and politics turned it into dumpster fire.

Thanks!!! :) I agree with you. I hope it will happen soon. I'm really sick of the state of today's internet too. I hope to see more creative people around the web.

Also, to make things special, and since this page is my first page ever read in Neocities, your site will be included in 404 page of my site lol

Thanks, that's creative! I've actually tought about this before like, my site being featured on other people's 404 pages. That would be weird and cool. I appreciate your support ;D

Recently, I have been ruminating over the "dead Internet theory" and some strange things. On your website and Neocities, I can re perceive some "human" feelings, as well as a "wild" feeling of the Internet 20 years ago. Everyone can play their own creativity to create their own cyberspace backyard. Moreover, in the era of AI prevalence, I am certain that the people behind this website exist, and I am certain that this website was not created by AI. I am also building my own website. Welcome everyone to take a look =v= Yay!

I agree with you. It's nice to see people have gotten bored of today's internet and starting to be creative, productive.and original. Thanks for the message, I'll definitely check out your site! Feel free to ask if you need any help. Have a good day! ^_^
